Theresa D’Andrea

Theresa is co-founder of the Journal. She graduated in 2007 from Cornell University and then paralegaled in the litigation and corporate law departments of Cahill, Gordon, & Reindel LLP in New York City. She has an interest in international finance, especially private equity investments in developing economies, as well as international human rights. She interned with The Legal Aid Society last summer in New York City and volunteered in Peru.
Allen Reece

Allen is co-founder of the Journal and of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. Prior to law school, he held positions of vice-president at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and at JPMorgan Chase. He has an MSc. in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems from the University of Sussex, UK and a BA from Earlham College. He summered at Benesch Friedlander in the summer of 2011.
Joseph Mead
Managing Editor
Joe graduated from Tufts University and is now pursuing a JD and MBA from the University of Michigan. Previously, Joe worked for a renewable energy trading company in Boston, before joining Constellation Energy in 2008. He worked for the private equity practice group at Paul Hastings in the summer of 2011.
Daryl Saylor
Managing Editor
Daryl graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is co-founder of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and a member of the University of Michigan Business Law Association. He will work at DLA Piper after graduation.
Jeffrey Koh

Jeffrey graduated in 2009 from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Economics, and English. He is currently an editor on the Michigan Law Review, and represented Michigan Law in both the Midwest and International Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He will work at Ropes & Gray this summer in the Private Equity practice.
Zachary Oswald
Executive Note Editor
Zachary received a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is currently a member of The Michigan Journal of Gender and Law, through which he will be publishing a note during the spring of 2012. Additionally, he is a student attorney for the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project. After graduation, he intends to practice labor and employment law.
Darin See
Executive Technology Editor
Darin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He participated in the dot-com boom and bust in Silicon Valley and spent some nine years working as an IT consultant prior to entering law school. Darin is a co-founder of both the Journal and the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. He spent the summer of 2010 as a judicial extern to the Honorable William H. Alsup of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. In the summer of 2011, Darin worked in both the intellectual property litigation and corporate practice groups at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California.
